You might be thinking, wait a minute, shouldn’t such decadence be reserved for the fall season? When the leaves turn rich? And the temps turn cool? Well, to that I have to say… are you ok? Who in this world taught you that you can’t treat yourself all year round. And where can I find them? Because I would like to have a word. Here at GoNanas (and with a little help from our friends at Super Coffee obviously) we believe no day is the wrong day to start treating yourself. Let’s dive in to rich flavors and delicious treats now and not stop until the new year! OR, let’s be honest…. Ever.
Time to set you up for success as you bake your lil hearts away. Here is what you will need. As always, grab yourself 2 ripe bananas and mash them on up. Next, get ¼ cup of almond butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla (always yum). Set aside ¼ cup of your Super Coffee Mocha Latte and 1 package of GoNanas NEW Red Velvet Banana Bread Mix. Round it out with 1 teaspoon of baking powder - et voila! You have everything you need for your delicious Mocha Red Velvet Banana Bread Brownies. Or do you?? What delicious treat would be complete without some Mocha Cream Cheese Swirl. Not this one, that’s for sure. For this delightful topper, grab 8 ounces of cream cheese (soften that baby to room temperature), 1 egg yolk, ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract (again… yum), and 2 tablespoons of Super Coffee Mocha Latte. Now this next part is dealer’s choice. You have the option to add in 1 teaspoon of coffee granules too for a little extra kick! Okay, NOW we are ready to get started for really real this time. I promise.
I am admittedly not great at math (except when it comes to baking. I can’t explain it. It is a different part of my brain). But, if my calculations are correct, that should leave us with… a decent amount of Super Coffee Mocha Latte to enjoy while we bake. Big yum. Sip away while you create, bakers and bakettes. Or, if you are like me, chug that puppy and get cooking! Here we go. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease and line an 8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set that cutie aside. Then, in a large bowl, combine all of your ingredients together for the base until it’s smooth. Pour the resulting batter into your prepared baking pan. Next, to make your mocha cream cheese swirl, go ahead and beat together the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Dollop your cream cheese mixture on top of the batter in your pan and use a toothpick to swirl the cream cheese right into the batter. Pop your concoction into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Then remove, let her cool, and slice it into squares. And bon appetit! You are ready to enjoy this delicious and decadent treat. BIG yum.
Go ahead and ring out these last long luxurious summer nights with Mocha Red Velvet Banana Bread Brownies from GoNanas and Super Coffee. We dare you. And as always, please PLEASE take copious pics and tag us so we can snack vicariously through you. Enjoy!
