Banana Bread Cake Pops


chocolate and banana is certainly the best flavor combination, which is why we can’t stop eating these banana bread cake pops. they're the perfect treat when you’re craving a lil something sweet.

serves 10

ingredients:

  • 1 loaf from original gonanas banana bread mix

  • 10 cake pop sticks

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil 

  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

  • sprinkles (optional) 

directions:

  1. prepare original gonanas mix according to package and bake in loaf pan

  2. let banana bread cool slightly, then cut off top, bottom and edges

  3. transfer the bread to a bowl and crumble the loaf

  4. take a handful of crumbs and roll them into a ball, until they resemble the size of a golf ball and attach cake pop sticks

  5. once you have formed the cake balls chill them in the fridge for 30 minutes, they can stay in the fridge for up to 2 days

  6. to make the chocolate coating, melt chocolate chips and one tablespoon of coconut oil until it is a liquid consistency

  7. dip the cake pops into the chocolate until completely covered and decorate with sprinkles if desired

  8. let chocolate harden in the fridge for 30 minutes and then enjoy!

     

cake pops can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for longterm storage!
