3 of our Current Favorite Banana Bread Cookie Recipes


First it was oatmeal, then donuts, and now cookies! Whenever you guys ask for more recipes, we always answer! Recently, banana bread cookies have been all of the rave! You have been asking non stop for more cookie recipes, so we have decided to compile 3 of our current favorite cookie recipes using our GoNanas banana bread mix! Our GoNanas banana bread mix is extremely versatile and can be eaten in any form! Therefore it isn't surprising that banana bread in the shape of cookies is AMAZING.  No matter what mix you have on hand or decide to buy, you can substitute any mix to make these banana bread cookies. As a reminder, all of GoNanas banana bread baking mixes are allergen-free, vegan, and gluten-free! Is there anything better than delicious AND healthy banana bread?! I think not! Therefore, you can whip up these cookie recipes for anyone and everyone to enjoy!


Glazed Banana Bread Cookies

@bewellwithcar is the mastermind behind these glazed banana bread cookies and they are literal GOLD. Banana bread cookies are great on their own, but the added glaze brings these cookies to the next level!


Ingredients you’ll need

Cookies:

  • 1 GoNanas Original Banana Bread Mix (if you are a chocolate fan, we can not recommend more to use GoNanas Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Mix. The chocolate chips and the added glaze pair together amazingly!)
  • 1 ½ mashed bananas
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (can sub canola oil, avocado oil, or butter)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (can sub honey or agave)
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp non dairy milk (can sub milk of choice)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla 
  • Dash of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. Combine the wet ingredients. Slowly add in the dry ingredients
  3. Scoop cookie dough onto the baking sheet
  4. Bake for around 10 minutes.
  5. Add ingredients for the glaze and mix together until fully combined
  6. Once cookies are cool, pour glaze over the cookies and enjoy!

  • 5-Ingredient S'mores cookies

    Who doesn't love s'mores?! Sitting around the campfire while roasting marshmallows is one of the best parts of summer. As the start of summer approaches, s’mores season is about to start and what better way to get ready than with some banana bread s’mores cookies! @thedessertjungle created the cookie of our dreams with these 5-ingredient S’mores cookies! There is no better combination than banana bread, chocolate, and marshmallows!


    Ingredients you’ll need

    Cookies:

    • 1 GoNanas Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Mix
    • 1 mashed banana
    • ¼ cup of maple syrup (can sub honey or agave)
    • Chocolate and marshmallows for the top (we recommend hu kitchen chocolate gems!)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
    2. Mix together GoNanas banana bread mix with the mashed banana and maple syrup. 
    3. Scoop cookie dough onto the baking sheet.
    4. Top each cookie with chocolate and a handful of marshmallows
    5. Bake for 13 minutes, let sit for a minute or two, and then enjoy!

  • Chocolate Dipped Banana Bread Oat Cookies

    It should be no surprise that oats, banana bread, and chocolate come together to form delicious cookies. @healthywlogan can attest to this with their easy chocolate dipped banana bread oat cookies recipe.


    Ingredients you’ll need

    • 1 GoNanas Crackly Banana Bread Mix (or GoNanas mix of choice. I personally love making this recipe with the Original Banana Bread Mix!)
    • ¾ cup of rolled oats
    • 1 tbsp cup of maple syrup (can sub honey or agave)
    • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (can sub canola oil, avocado oil, or butter)
    • 1 mashed banana
    • Splash or 2 of oat milk (can sub milk of choice)
    • Chocolate for melting

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
    2. Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT chocolate in a bowl (keep adding milk until smooth but not too runny).
    3. Place tablespoon sized balls onto the cookie sheet.
    4. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Melt chocolate until completely smooth. 
    5. Once cookies are cooked, dip them into the chocolate.

    Place in the freezer until the chocolate has hardened! Then enjoy!
