Banana bread lattes are having a moment, and what better way to take it to the next level than with a thick slice of our decadent Chocolate Chip Banana Bread on top?
Ingredients
Banana Bread
1 GoNanas Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Mix
2-3 Bananas
2 tbsp of milk of choice
1 tbsp of of maple syrup
2 tbsp of coconut oil
Banana Bread Syrup
1 ripe banana
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of water
Dash of Cinnamon
Dash of salt
1 tsp of vanilla
Coffee
1/2 - 1/3 cup of coconut or oat milk
Coffee of choice, we used Jot’s coffee concentrate
2-3 tbsp of creamer
Dash of Cinnamon
Directions
Banana Bread
Combine 2-3 bananas, 2 tbsp of your choice of milk, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, and 2 tbsp of oil
Combine in bowl and add 1 GoNanas Chocolate Chip Banana Bread mix
Pour into loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 mins
Banana Bread Latte
Mash your banana. In a small pot on medium heat, add your mashed banana, brown sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil then simmer, mixing often for 10-15 minutes. Turn off the heat and mix in your vanilla. Pour and mash through a strainer (or blend) to create your syrup. Store in a glass jar.
Make your iced latte. add ice to a large glass and pour in your milk. Brew a double shot of espresso over 1-2 tbsp of your banana bread syrup and mix it in well. Pour it into your glass immediately.
Make your cold foam by frothing 1-2 tbsp banana bread syrup with creamer. Pour over your coffee, top with cinnamon and a thick slice of banana bread. Enjoy
