Copycat Twix Bars

COPYCAT TWIX BARS with edible gold because we’re feeling ourselves! These gluten free and vegan beauties are the best treat to walk into the weekend with!

We used our newest limited edition banana bread flavor, Double Chocolate Caramel, into homemade Twix Bars and they look gourmet but literally took 10 minutes to prep!

Stop what you are doing right now and meet me in the kitchen!

For the bar you need: 1 bag GoNanas Chocolate Caramel, 2 large bananas, overripe, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted, 2 tablespoons almond milk, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup.

For the caramel you will need: 1 cup coconut cream, 3/4 cup coconut sugar, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Set aside some chocolate to melt on top at the end, if that's your jam.

Now that you've gathered all the ingredients, get ready to blow away your friends and family with these chocolate caramel perfections! First, preheat your oven to 350 and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Next, prepare GoNanas Double Chocolate Caramel mix according to package.

While the brownies bake, heat caramel ingredients in a small pot over medium heat until coconut cream has melted. Lower heat to a simmer & cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat & let cool.

Once your brownies are ready let them cool. Once cooled, spread caramel sauce on top. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring often. When the chocolate is melted, add to the top of caramel.

Tada! Transfer your twix to the fridge until chocolate is firm, roughly 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, break into squares and ENJOY!
