Salted Caramel Banana Bread Waffles

Tell me a better way to start the day then with a stack of waffles...I'll wait. When I tell you I crave this mouth watering recipe EVERY. SINGLE. DAY… I’m not kidding lol. Whether you're a waffle enthusiast or a banana fanatic, these waffles are bound to become your new obsession.

What's better than a stack of waffles? A gluten free and vegan Salted Caramel Waffles. Ready to give them a go? Meet us in the kitchen!

First, we need to gather all the ingredients to make these mouth watering beauts! Here's what you need for the waffles: 1 package @go_nanas salted caramel banana bread, 2 mashed ripe bananas, 2 tbsp avocado oil, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup almond milk,1 tsp vanilla, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Next, you need to gather up the following ingredients for the caramel sauce: 1/4 cup almond butter, 1/4 cup date nectar, 2 tbsp almond milk, and a pinch of salt.

Once, you have gathered all the ingredients, it's time to bring these delicious vegan waffles to life! First, preheat your waffle maker (I used a mini one). Mix together all ingredients in a bowl (the mix should be thick like regular waffle batter, if it’s too thick you can add a little more almond milk).

Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the waffle maker at a time, cook for 4-6 minutes until golden and crispy.

While your waffles are cooking, it's time to make the caramel sauce. In a bowl mix together the almond butter, date nectar, almond milk, and a pinch of salt.

Stack the waffles and top with banana slices, the caramel sauce, and cacao nibs. Enjoy! 🤍
