Mental health matters

Our newest flavor, Cookies N Cream, is dedicated to starting the conversation over and de-stigmatizing mental health in any way we can. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the Untied States, and the 2nd leading cause of death for people ages 10-34, so if we can save even one life then we will have made an impact.

The Inspiration

Last year, co-founder Annie, lost one of her closest friends to suicide. He was a brilliant student at the University of Michigan Medical School, always smiling, and never complained. When the sudden loss occurred, everyone who knew him was in complete and utter shock, as he had never so much as hinted that anything was wrong. Our Goal

We want to normalize the conversation of mental health to show people they shouldn't be afraid to do so and there is NO shame in mental health struggles. For starters, our packaging is adorned with mental health related statements to prompt the conversation on its own,

capitalizing too on the fact that food - by nature - is something that brings people together and sparks conversation. Beyond our packaging too, we will be utilizing our social presence to do a variety of activations and further spread these messages.

As people normalize mental health as being a real illness, one with effective treatments, we hope those who suffer will reach out for help. Additionally, with each Mental Health bundle sold we will be donating to the American Society For Suicide Prevention who has even more resources to make a difference.

How to Get Involved:

1. Start the conversation with your loved ones, whether over GoNanas or anything.

2. Donate to the American Society For Suicide Prevention here.

3. Share your story by filling out this form.

4. Follow go_nanas for other activations throughout the campaign on social.
